Vita Bona Est, is latin for "Life is good" An album I have been working on for more than 2 years, very different from my previous albums and it is far from anything I've done before.

During the beginning of the first lock down I started getting more interested in cinematic, epic and film score music, something I've never really thought much about other than when watching movies. So I set about on a journey of discovery which lead me to Hans zimmer who we all know and admire but also many other excellent artists. I listened to lots of cinematic and film score music, I even entered a competition Westwood instruments Lost piano, not that I thought I could win but as a challenge, could I make film score music, its track no. 8 Lost thoughts, On youtube you can find it here www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3JAZyxB5R0

I spend a lot of time listening and working on how I could create cinematic music but of course with my own twist on it. Fast forward and Vita Bona Est came into being, It is the result of all that inspiration I got from that journey, It was a huge amount of work and had lots of challenges, lots of mixing issues etc. many times I just wanted to give up as I couldn't get to where I wanted to be with the music, the sound and the mixing/mastering side of it, I spend many hours learning new things and techniques. I tried to get some tracks mixed and mastered by others which I've never done before and that process didn't go very well, lots of frustration, I'm a musician not an sound engineers, LOL.

Anyway back to Vita, which is a mix of cinematic epic style music with lots of vocals, some electronic elements, acoustic instruments, choirs, strings and of lots of percussions and more. Its been a long journey with many challenges, a lot of learning and a lot of listening, tweaking and changing BUT Here it is, this release also includes 1 bonus tracks :-) 1 is a taster track for my next album and 1 is an alternate version of one already on the album, anyway enough from me, enjoy :-)
